Found A Great Purple and Pink Ski Helmet and Goggles For My Little Girl

Bonnyeclaire is 3 years old and ready to come skiing with Mommy and Big brother. So, this winter I needed to get her a ski helmet and goggles (couldn’t do hand-me-downs from Elijah because his still fit him … shucks!) I chose this darling one – it’s purple and pink, with a band of kittens playing music!

The helmet is by Giro and is super-comfy (even Bonnyeclaire likes to wear it!) The downside: seems the company makes a different design each year and this one is discontinued. Upside: there may be some great close-out deals! I bought this one in size XS/S from Sierra Trading Post, along with the darling Smith Goggles in the picture.

The helmet has a special snap-closed goggle strap holder that keeps the goggles well in place. The lenses are framed in a rosy pink and the elastic band is white with rose-pink fairies, streaks of light gray, and the attractive Smith logo. The design is subtle and adorable, as you can see. Though her face is tiny, these goggles work well.

Both of my kids prefer to wear their helmets and goggles when playing outside in the snow, even at home. The combination keeps them warm, keeps snow out of their faces and protects their eyes when the sun is shining brightly and reflecting off of the snow.
